Shadowing can be seen in embroidery, applique, piecing and quilting. Because shadowing is distracting to the eye of the viewer, the quilter needs to be vigilant during all phases of the construction to see that it does not occur. During this lecture examples of shadowing will be shared and suggestions to correct.
