I began sewing many years ago in the 1950's with a needle and thread!
After making various garments - (i.e., nuns habits, tailoring for the priests, family clothing including barbie clothes).  Then I decided to focus my sewing skill set and pursue my dreams & passion for quilts and quilting.

I joined many quilting guilds between Maryland, New Jersey & Pennsylvania before moving into the national arena (i.e. NQA, AQS, Pieced Together Quilters (NJ)-Past Pres., The Baltimore Applique Society, (MD)-Past Pres. and SWFL Quilters,-Past 2nd Vice Pres.

I taught the quilt judging course for the University of Maryland, Agriculture Department and traveled the entire state to keep all the inspiring quilters, judges and inspectors on the same page of the current techniques and new quilt trends.

For over ten (10) years, I was the owner-operator of RC Dream Quilts.  We had two quilt sales/shows a year.  As part of the service, I focused on preservation and restorations and taught many classes.  In order to perfect your lovely quilts, it's imperative to learn how to finalize your quilts with a Blue-Ribbon Binding...(the binding that will surprise you and make others take a step back).  Nevertheless, it's important to have fun and not stress over your bindings.
