Friends, Fabric and Fun! Where your quilt dreams come true. |
The basics of ruler work how to set up your machine and do simple straight line work and gentle curves. We will only be doing samples in this class so fat quarter sandwiches work well. We will be doing some marking so if you own a cross hair template bring that, also the Westalee space gauge is very helpful. If you own a variety of templates bring them and I will try to explain them to you.
Supplies needed:
At least two fat quarter sized quilt sandwiches
Thread and wound bobbins.
Extension table for your sewing machine.
Quilting gloves.
A Supreme Slider or other Teflon sheet.
Tools needed to attach your ruler foot.
Marking tool - chalk pencil, Frixion pen or markers of your choice.
Straight edge and a cushion to raise you in your seat makes it easier to see what you are doing.
