Beginning Quilting with Kay
If you have always wanted to learn to quilt or know someone who wants to learn, this is the class for you. We will be using the Sassy Sunflower "Quick Strip" pattern and kit to make a beginning quilt. You will learn how to read a pattern, about color placement, cutting the fabric, pressing and sewing a 1/4" seam.
You will need a cutting mat
rotary cutter
6X24 ruler
thread
pins
sewing machine in good working order, be sure to bring the manual, foot pedal and plug
When the class is over, you will have a completed quilt top.
