Temperature Quilt

This 3 session class will start out with a gathering to discuss this concept. Before class you will need to determine the year and location for your quilt. I selected my birth year and location of Detroit, Michigan.  You can get this online and print it out.

For fabrics i selected colors for a temperature range of single digits to the low 90's.  I made each color span 5 degrees. My colors range from dark blue to yellow to orange to red for my warmest day. Based on your temperatures you will need 1/4 ot 1/2 yard of each color, plus the white for your background (1-1/2 Yard). The free pattern is included in the price of this class.

To begin there is a lot of cutting, but once the cutting is done, it is smooth sewing!

This quilt top will not be completed in the class, bbut we can schedule a month get-together tto make each of us be accountable for this project.  After all, you will have either 365 or 366 blocks to complete!
