PAPER PIECED CHICKEN PINCUSHION
Learn the super-popular method of paper piecing while making this cute "chicken" pin cushion. You will be learn the techniques, tips, and tricks for making paper pieced blocks that can be applied to any paper pieced pattern. Then use your log cabin blocks to make a triangle shaped pin cushion. All this while making new friends and having fun with Christine who has been teaching quilting for 25 years.
REQUIRES:
- rotary cutter, mat
- ADD-A-QUARTER ruler or 6x1” acrylic ruler(available at Kay's)
- sewing machine in good working order
- scissors
- pencil
- one sheet paper piecing paper (available at Kay’s)
- crushed walnuts stuffing (available at Kay’s)
- 2 color ways of fabric, six colors each
- *either scraps or 1/8 yards or fat quarters
- hand sewing needle
- coordinating thread
*scraps need to be at least 2” x 6”
