| Let's see what the end of the year is bringing... |
It seems like I just got a really nice calendar and now I am on the last couple of pages. Have no fear, I have a newer calendar to fill in for 2024. We have so many loose ends to close out the end of the year, so that means this is going to be a lengthy newsletter. I apologize and hope you stay with me.
We had a great Thanksgiving with Michele and Franklin. Not only did we celebrate Thanksgiving (which we have so much to be thankful for) but also Franklin's 12th birthday. Franklin has taken up fishing and is a fishing fool! He was so excited that he caught a fish on Thanksgiving morning outside our house, but he had no bait! Just a plain hook! Then he had a repeat on Sunday, his birthday, with an even bigger fish! Thankfully he is a catch and release guy! (Lucky Grammy, no cleaning of the fish!)

So who likes a challenge? We are having a pincushion challenge starting in January. One can not have too many pincushions! So while we are closed, you can start searching for that perfect pincushion pattern. The cost to enter is $5.00 per pincushion. Yes, that means you can make as many as you want. Caryn has made a couple really cute ones as samples. All pincushions need to be turned in January 31. Voting will take place during the month of February, with prizes awarded on Monday, March 4 at noon.

The All Florida Shop Hop is scheduled for March and April. We are pre-selling the magazines and starting the middle of January we can start pre-selling the fabrics. Remember how last year we all ran out, so don't let that happen to you this year.
We are also very excited about some new items that will be arriving the first week in January...
-A good selection of new batik fabrics
-Some very nice Japanese fabrics
-Sashiko...new threads and panels
Of course we know that there will be much more coming, but these are items we know are on their way.
Scott worked really hard to get all our longarm quilts done for the holidays, often staying until 9p.m. So that means that we have lots of time to get your treasure quilted.
