Quick note...
|
Not sure about about you, but things have been going a little hot and heavy in our world, between weather issues, not so much here, but our friends in North Carolina, doctor appointments for Scott(all great news with no traces of cancer at all), new projects and items planned for the shop, the time is just flying by! I did get a call from The Larsen Center looking for small lap robes, either quilted, knit or crocheted. She only needs 200 and would love them by Christmas. Size requested is 36"x40". If you can help, please drop them off at the shop. We have a great start of about 60 that a few of the Friday Hand Stitch group has provided. If you have time or some extra fabric or orphan blocks it would be so welcome.Scott is up-grading his longarm machine, so the beautiful teal Nolting machine he is using is looking for a new home. Scott will be offering some classes to the new owner. The machine does come with a computer program and can also be used for edge to edge or free-motion quilting. Stop by for pricing, Scott will be happy to answer any questions if you are interested. So now the sad news, with his new longarm on order, this means that we will need to have two longarm machines set up in the shop, we will not have room in our classroom so we are putting on hold all classes and open sewing session starting on Wednesday, October 9. This will just be until the Nolting longarm is delivered to it's new home!Scott has added a large number of bolts to the sale rack. There are a number of bolts with a fairly large amount of fabric on them, great for backings. All sales fabric are one yard minimum cuts.More news to come shortly... Thank you for your friendship and support. Kay and Scott
