Well, here we are half way through October, the holiday season is just around the corner...Have you gotten started on your shopping or projects? I did start mine today! I am super excited and will gladly show you if you stop by the shop. I can not post this as my family likes to read my newsletter, hoping I made good mention of them! Although I don't have any fantastic Franklin stories to share this week, I do have some exciting news to share with you!We are thrilled to announce, we are joining the APQS family and will be offering APQS longarm quilting machines and acessories for sale and we will also have a rental program! Through multiple conversations, we have learned that many of you are interested in having your own machine or would like the opportunity to learn to use a longarm while being able to finish your projects! We can't wait to be able to share more about these exciting machines in the near future.However, with that being said, if you haven't started your holiday projects, now is the time to stock up! This means, he needs to find a new home for his beautiful turquoise Nolting longarm machine. It is a great machine that works well! If you are interested in learning more about this machine come in and see us, Scott can answer all of your questions!Although, the holidays are quickly creeping up on us, Scott has been keeping up with all of the quilts that have come in, his usual turn-around time is about 2 weeks. So, feel free to bring in any projects that need to be quilted!Look at this cute Halloween table runner! It went together so quickly and is perfect for the rest of the month.What have I been working on? You all know I have been working on my wonderful Sashiko Christmas tree. I am now decorating it! I am sewing beads on it. I am so thrilled with the way it is turning out. Can't wait to share it with you once it is complete!We are still collecting Lap Robes/Quilts. We are looking for donations to meet our goal. We have about 70 so far and our goal is 200. The size we are looking for is approximately 36"x40". These can be quilted, knitted or crocheted.
