Happy Thanksgiving

Every year at Thanksgiving dinner, my mother would have us go around the table to say what we were thankful for. The older I get, the fuller my heart feels. I am of course very thankful for my husband, daughter and grandson, but each and everyone one of you are a part of the fullness. I know I always thank you for your friendship and support, please know that they comes from the bottom of my heart! We are so excited for this coming week. Michele and Franklin will be arriving on Sunday for 10 days. We have decided to close as usual on Monday, also on Tuesday and Wednesday and of course Thursday for the Thanksgiving week. This will give us the opportunity to spend time with Franklin on Tuesday, which is his 13th birthday. Not sure what we will do, but we will be going out for dinner and cake and ice cream at home. His idea is Red Velvet Cake. It will be a fun day no matter what we do!
We will be open on Friday as usual. Look for an email on Thursday evening, after dinner with some specials and news.While credit and debit cards are certainly convenient to use, the fees that we pay, as a shop, are hefty. But when you pay with cash or check instead of a card, it saves us a fee and you can enter the monthly drawing for a $25.00 gift card starting on December 1, 2024. The drawing will be held on the first Thursday of the month following the first day at 10:00a.m.Until Thursday.... Thank you for your friendship and support.
