As I sit here, my belly is full, the leftovers are put away and the dishwasher is running! It is still early enough for a board game or movie and of course pie. We were all too full to eat that yet!
What a wonderful week we have had. Tuesday we celebrated Franklin's 13th birthday. Yes, he is taller than me, but not quite as tall as his Grampy! We do believe that he has a hollow leg, as he eats often and a lot!So what have we done with our time off? The boys fished, we went on a picnic, the boys fished, Michele and I cooked, the boys fished, well, you get the idea.One thing that Michele and I did get done is some ice-dying. We have some great fabric pieces, fat quarters and fat eighths. Cost is just $5.00 per fat quarter and $3.00 per fat eighth. The thing that we are most excited about is the sashiko thread that we were able to dye. The colors are fantastic! The sashiko skeins are 170 meters for just $14.93. These are limited supply, but we will have more soon! Each skein is a one of a kind, so if you like it, get it now.  Since we have these great ice dyed sashiko threads, you may need a few sashiko panels, so I think they will be discounted 10%. Just got a new supply about 2 weeks ago, so the selection is great!We have a few 24x35 Quilters Select two sided cutting mats on sale, Just $55.00. Limited to what is on hand.The Poppie Cotton "Calico Cowgirl" fabric is on sale for 20% off. We have the entire collection as well as 10" squares and fat quarters.
