New Year News!

We sure had a wonderful holiday time. We drove to Ohio. We had a wonderful drive up. One thing I saw that put a smile on my face was a bunch of icicles from the water that oozes out of the rocks along I-75 in Kentucky. I have not seen icicles in years!Starting tomorrow, Monday, January 6 we will be open on Mondays and continuing our "Sew It's Monday" open sew from 10-4.Scott's beautiful Nolting Longarm machine is on the market. It is with heavy hearts we are letting it go! It is in wonderful condition, we just need the room for our upgade in longarm machine.Something new that we have in the shop is the ice dyed sashiko thread. Scott and I have dyed them and we think the colors are incredible. I love how it stitches and what it looks like on the fabric. In my ideal world, I would just stitch with it all day! I have also ice dyed some fabrics as well. They are either fat quarters or fat eighths. What I love about them is that no two are alike.As many of you may have heard the rumors that Kay's will be moving, well it is true. Our lease is up and we are currently looking for a larger location. As soon as the ink is dry on a new lease, we will let you know.The larger location will be a great to help showcase the APQS longarm machines that will be delivered later this month. We will be sharing more information on that once they are on the way. We will have an APQS showroom for sales and machine rentals to come on that soon.For right now, we can sure use your help on cleaning out the shop, so we will have less to move!
