So much has been going on for the last week or so. We are out of the Colonial location and into the "NEW" Surfside location in Cape Coral. We have had so much help from so many wonderful people. I'll tell you, this was a huge job and there is no way we could have done it alone. We certainly appreciate the fact that Michele and Franklin made the trip south to help. We are getting pretty settled after having to wait for both electricity and internet. Without the internet, we also did not have telephone. But we are up and running!Tomorrow we are expecting our first shipment of new fabric into the new shop! We are so pleased to be able to add to the shop so quickly.
Tuesday afternoon is the (long awaited) scheduled delivery date from APQS. We are getting the Millie 30 with a 12 foot table, a Lucey on a 10 foot table and the Ellie on a 5 foot 6 inch table. Once they are set up we will be scheduling classes so you can rent time on the machines to quilt your own creations.We are all set to take in quilts to be quilted. Scott is looking forward to starting on his long arm stitching. As always we try to get quilts back in 8-10 business days.We are also excited to share with you that we are a drop off/pick-up location for Eric to pick up machines that need to be cleaned or repaired. He has over 20 years of experience. He will be in the shop every Friday.I am still working on classes so stay tuned. We have some really fun projects in mind.
