| Stocking Day is this week! |
Just a reminder that we have Stocking Day scheduled for Thursday, April 10. We donate 1,00 stockings to be sent the the troops over the holidays. We need them done early so they can be stuffed and packaged to be sent. We will be pressing fabric, cutting out stockings and cuffs, assembling stocking kits and sewing together some stockings. I do have a bit of Christmas fabric that has been donated, but we can and do need more. I am hopeful that we can get a really good start on this project. All are welcome at any time and for a long as your schedule permits!Scott has added the APQS Longarm Training class to our schedule. We have selected a few dates to start, but if they do not work for you, please call or stop by and we will be happy to add one class just for you! These are one on one classes and you will be able to complete your own quilt, no larger than 1,500 square inches.Anton's paper piecing class is on the schedule for Saturday, April 12. If you are going to learn basic paper piecing, Anton is your man. We will be making a snail trail block. You will get one done at least in class but the fabric necessary for the class will make a nice table topper.Patty has her wonderful skirt class on the calendar. This elastic waist skirt has a side pocket for your phone! (A skirt with a pocket! Now that is a winner in every woman's book!) In the two session class you will be measured and make your pattern during the first session. The second session we will be assembling your skirt! Fashion Show at Kay's!I have added another three session Beginning Quilting class on Wednesdays during the month of May. Thank you for your friendship and support.
