Well this week started out nicely. We were asked to be present and participate in a Quilts of Valor award ceremony. Both Franklin and Jarvas helped and were very appreciative to be able to be witness to this very moving experience.Grampy and the boys went to Top Golf to enjoy Scott's Father's Day gift of an experience. Neither boy had ever swung a golf club and it has been over 10 years for Scott. But a good time was had by all!Wednesday evening will be our APQS Longarm Road Show from 5p.m. until 8p.m. All are welcome, especially if you are interested in a longarm. We just ask that you call and let us know you will be attending.We still have a few spots open for our In-Shop Mini Retreat. The retreat includes all project materials, food, snacks and prizes as well as time for you to work on some of your own projects. The time is from Saturday at 2p.m. until 9p.m. and then again on Sunday from 9 to 9. Cost is just $175. Plan on enjoying this fun filled weekend with us.This last weekend we had our first offering of the "A Tote for Kay" class. We had some great color combinations and lots of fun. This class is being repeated on Saturday, August 23 and has a few openings yet. Call or stop by to register for this class soon. Thank you for your friendship and support.
